Core Community Standards

Mutual Respect & Academic Integrity

Every member of Nexus—whether a first-year attendee or a senior branch lead—agrees to support a culture of constructive peer feedback and collaborative growth.

Expected Student Behavior

  • Respect Diverse Backgrounds: Welcome peers from all universities, departments, and skill levels.
  • Facility & Hardware Care: Treat campus labs, projection equipment, and shared workspaces with care.
  • Constructive Communication: Offer actionable code critiques, helpful design feedback, and respectful debate.

Zero-Tolerance Violations

Immediate expulsion and university escalation will occur for:

  • Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination in any form.
  • Plagiarism or misrepresenting fellow peers' project code or design as one's own.
  • Intentionally sabotaging university hardware or disruptive laboratory conduct.
